My Prayers to Lord Stanley Went Unanswered. Again.

As most of you probably know, the Canadiens playoff aspirations were "swept" away last night, if you will. Well, I won't, because I contend they never had any. I have never seen such an uninspired bunch. Well, minus the Senators this season.

I had to get drunk while watching the game, because I knew that otherwise I would cry. Even so, I almost did. Where did things go wrong? Why did Glen Metropolit have such a hideous moustache? I tried, readers, to find a picture, but it didn't happen. However, it looked something like this.

All in all, it was a terrible series, our own fans started to boo Carey Price, and those smug, a-hole Boston fans get to move on to the second round. Did I mention that I hate them? In case you didn't get the memo, I also hate Lucic and his horrible, overpowering nose. D-bag.

  1. You may hate Bruins fans but they never gave up on their team last year. Nor would they boo a 21 year old goalie. It wasn't even his fault not even close...Also the clear reason they lost was because they stole Glen Metropolit from Philly!!! The staches shouldn't leave the city of Brotherly Love ever!

  2. They weren't swept last year. Big difference.

It was by no means a majority that booed Price. Just a few fans. I don't see why you would try to argue that Boston fans are better than Montreal fans. They won't be around when Boston goes back to being the irrelevant team that it was. Boston is not a hockey city at all. But in Montreal, "la ville est hockey."

    I hate you Scott.

  3. I'm mostly sad there wasn't a riot, it hurts the reputation of Montreal that we can't burn cop cars and wreck shit when our team loses horribly

  4. I think it's awesome that Montreal fans burn cop cars (but not Katie) and wreck shit when their team wins, but not when they lose. Incidentally, the one bright spot in all of this was that Lucic became a bloodied (more) horrifying mess before the series ended.

  5. Is it bad that I clapped when I saw that he had been cut in the face?
