Tonight I Wanna Cry - Keith Urban Never Say Never - The Fray More Than A Memory - Garth Brooks Broken Strings - James Morrison Grace - Kate Havenik Apologize - OneRepublic
I Didn't Understand - Elliott Smith No One Will Ever Love You - The Magnetic Fields How Do You Keep Love Alive - Ryan Adams and the Cardinals Autumn Leaves - Frank Sinatra I'll Come Running Back to You - Sam Cooke
Friends in Low Places-Garth Brooks. I know it's country, but it's fucking kick-ass. Sam and I have had extensive discussion about this song and have decided it makes the cut. So Yesterday by Hilary Duff. That gal really knows how to serve up a break-up shit sandwich.
On an unrelated note, Jill and I have been discussing in detail regarding the bodies of work of P. Diddy and Lil' John. We decided that Lil' John has contributed more to the musically genre than P. Diddy (aka Sean "Puffy" Combs) ever could. See "Yeah" by Usher (or Ursher if your Luda) and "Hypnotize" by Notorious BIG.
a little *NSYNC never hurt anyone, right? They've got lots of breakup songs. I like 'it makes me ill' and 'the game is over.' Also, practically every Backstreet Boys song is an angry breakup song. (Another Song) All Over Again by JT Last Day of Our Acquaintance by Sinead O'Connor We Belong Together by Mariah Carey Maybe at some point you'll need a second playlist for upbeat breakup songs? Irreplaceable by Beyonce Since U Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson survivor by Destiny's Child I Don't Wanna Be In Love by Good Charlotte or any other songs from the mixes I used to make for Mom. :)
Not really a break-up song, but I love it... 40 Day Dream by Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.

Let's try again, but when you don't suggest the most obscure songs ever. Or, you remember that I don't like country.
ReplyDeleteBest track added to playlist so far: Here I Go Again by Whitesnake. Soon to be followed by Every Rose Has Its Thorn.
Time of your life - Green Day
ReplyDeleteCome on, Franky is anything but obscure
ReplyDeleteOk, you don't need to download the Garth Brooks song, but Keith Urban doesn't sound country at all. Especially that song.
