Name Change Suggestion, Snack Savvy, and "WTF It's Almost Here!"

I can't even believe this. In FORTY EIGHT HOURS we will be embarking on that wonderful, booze-fueled, and straight-up utterly macabre month of noveling. I want to start now.

As long as I can remember, I have only really known one thing: how to snack. Yes, I am planning on following Indigo's footsteps and pursuing post-graduate studies in the prestigious snacking school at McGill. Since I have so much wisdom to bestow on the uninitiated, I feel that it is my duty to share with you my NaNoWriMo-specific snacking guidelines. First, avoid sticky foods. including anything that is sugar-coated. A sticky keyboard means fewer words per minute, which is definitely not what we are going for here. Second, embrace your new friend: the spoon. As I have discovered, almost anything can be eaten with a spoon. My most pleasant surprise was Smartfood. No more cheese powder hands for me! And finally, I have two words for you: tiny tongs.

To conclude, I would like to make a suggestion to all of you. Technically, we are not participating in National Novel Writing Month, since that month is actually November. I think that we should change the name to EzNoWriMo, or Esmonde Novel Writing Month. And yes, I am aware that some people who weren't lucky to be born Esmonde participate, but come on, they're all wannabes anyway. What do we think?
